Plot3d is a program for graphing functions of two variables on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP.

Functions of the type z= f ( x, y),

Where f is a function of two input variables.


We can view the graph as a simulated R³ space on the computer screen. (plane projections from R³)

Using the OpenGL rendering library the Plot3d program allows us to explore mathematical functions geometrically.

If there is an interesting region of the surface, you can grab the surface and rotate it, zoom in and out. You can change between a wire-frame, points, and smooth surface style.

The power of mathematics to often model reality can indeed be amazing. Too bad the power is not always accompanied by wise use, the result?

Continuing development and spread of toxic and dangerous technologies which could be harmful to all. A continuing and increasing obsession with quantity in the global economy.

Mathematical tools and knowledge have given many blessings to humanity, let's hope it remains that way.
